Shipping & CARE

Made to order

Each lamp is made to order. This means we don’t have prebuilt stock — every piece is individually drained, cleaned, refilled, and tested before sealing.

Please allow additional time for material preparation, testing, and packaging. Typical turnaround is 2–4 weeks before shipping, depending on current build volume.

SHIPPING & DELIVERY

All lamps ship securely packaged and labeled as fragile.

  • Flat rate: $18 (U.S. only). This covers protective packaging, cushioning, and carrier fees for fragile shipments.

  • Tracking: A confirmation email with tracking will be sent once your lamp ships

  • Packaging: Each lamp is boxed and cushioned for safe transit

If your lamp arrives with visible damage, document it immediately and reach out via email with photos so we can make it right.

Setup & Warm-up

Set your lamp on a flat, stable surface away from drafts or direct sunlight.

Plug it in and allow sufficient time for the first full warm-up cycle:

  • 14.5-inch, 16.3-inch, and 17-inch lamps: 2-4 hours

  • 27-inch lamps: 4-6 hours

You’ll notice the wax gradually soften, rise, and begin to flow.

Do not shake or move the lamp while it’s warm — this can cause the wax to cloud or break apart. Allow it to cool completely (6–8 hours) before moving if needed.

Operating tips

  • Run your lamp for no more than 8 hours at a time.

  • Allow it to cool fully before restarting another cycle.

  • Avoid direct sunlight — UV light can fade dyes and affect fluid clarity.

  • Always handle the globe carefully; small vibrations can disturb flow consistency.

Cleaning & Maintenance

If dust accumulates on the exterior, use a soft microfiber cloth slightly dampened with water. Avoid household cleaners or glass sprays — these can leave streaks or interact with the fluid seal.

Your lamp should never require internal maintenance. If the flow ever changes or slows significantly, contact us before attempting to adjust or repair anything yourself.

Storage

If storing your lamp for an extended period:

  • Keep it upright in a cool, stable environment.

  • Avoid freezing temperatures or excessive heat.

  • Do not invert the globe or leave it on its side.

When you’re ready to use it again, allow it to reach room temperature before running.

Warranty & Repairs

Every Retro Flow Revival lamp is backed by a flow-quality guarantee.

If your lamp doesn’t perform as expected during its first few cycles, reach out within 14 days of delivery for troubleshooting or an assessment. Most issues can be resolved remotely with simple adjustments or warm-up guidance.

Minor differences in movement are natural — every rebuild has its own character — but we stand behind clarity, motion, and overall flow quality.

If the lamp arrives damaged or has a confirmed defect that affects performance, we’ll repair or replace it as needed. Please do not open or attempt to repair the lamp yourself, as this can worsen the issue and make troubleshooting or repair more difficult.
